EPGRAIL was founded in 2024, as a natural evolution of Edoardo Plana Gatteschi's (EPG) decades of experience in the field of business consultancy, following his work in the railway industry dating back to 1997.

Since 2014, our consulting activity has focused on facilitating market exchange between Spain and Italy, working closely with companies in both countries to foster their development in the rail sector. This strategy has been the cornerstone of our success, underpinned by EPG's in-depth knowledge of both markets, having played key roles in emblematic projects such as the ETR 5000 in Italy with Ansaldobreda (now Hitachi Rail), as well as in the Madrid metro since 2002, helping to manage the maintenance of the 7000 and 9000 Series trains.
